Google AI content is transforming search and requires immediate attention from businesses. By September or October, businesses unprepared for this shift may face significant challenges in being found online.

• Create content that answers frequently asked questions from customers
• Use transcripts from videos to develop blog posts that address search queries
• Make ChatGPT your "best friend" for business intelligence
• Document customer questions as they occur in real-time
• Mark your location in every social post for local business visibility
• Rotate through different nearby cities in location tags to attract regional customers
• Teenagers are already using ChatGPT voice features instead of typing searches
• This voice-first approach will become mainstream for all customers by November
• Old content properly tagged with locations is gaining new visibility in Google AI results

If you need help implementing these strategies, reach out to me and my team. We can guide you, coach you through the process, or even handle it for you if needed. Leave a comment to share your thoughts and I'll catch you on the next episode of Booster Visibility.

Brenda Eckhardt:

Why should you even care about Google AI content? It's just one more thing that you have to do and it's overwhelming and what the heck even is it? Well, I'm here to simplify it for you as much as possible and I'm gonna tell you what I'm doing and what I've done to be prepared for it, because it's gonna change everything with Google Search. If you're a local business and you need to get found online, I highly recommend that you drop as much as you can in marketing right now. Stop the presses, literally stop the reels, stop posting and take a few weeks or a week, depending on your team, your capacity, and go all in on this, because I would say, by September, october, if you have not had your self-prepared, your business prepared to be found online, there's going to be a problem getting you found, just being brutally honest. So what does all of this mean? Google AI, chatgpt they're all becoming the same. You and I need to create content that answers the FAQs. That's it. We need to anticipate the frequently asked questions by our customers and create content that has those words, those captions, those words typed over the top of the screen so that we can get found locally if you're a local business and if you're not a local business, then whatever key phrases you use or believe that you need to use, based on Google Trends, etc. You want to be getting those things in place Now.

Brenda Eckhardt:

Video can have its part in this, like right now what I'm doing. I'm actually creating, really, a transcript. That's probably the most valuable piece of this. Youtube will give me a transcript when I'm done with this video and I can take that transcript. I can create a blog post or several blog posts based on what I'm talking about and it's answering questions that people are searching for. I want them to come to me. I don't want them going to any other marketing strategy specialist. I want them to find me. I want to coach them. I want to take you, people like us, under my wing and shepherd you through all of this crazy stuff that we have to deal with as small business owners, midsize business owners and marketers, because it feels like we're constantly either dodging you know, fruit being thrown at us, or playing whack-a-mole, trying to get it all done and understand, like, how do I even prioritize this? Well, this is really top priority right now. A number one, absolute top priority stop the presses. Google and large language model, ai, search-based content. So from the transcripts that I created or extracted from YouTube.

Brenda Eckhardt:

Or let's just say that you go into chat GPT let's say you don't have a YouTube channel Go into chat GPT and use voice on your phone and just explain everything it is that you do. Explain your best customers, your best customer experiences, most commonly asked questions and, for the next few weeks in your everyday, day to day, make chat GPT your best friend for business and your basic business BI. Because when something occurs let's say that you own a clothing boutique and somebody comes in and asks a question and you think in your head, people ask me this all the time Well, you need to be answering that question for Google, because if you think people are asking that question in real time, in real life in your shop, they're 100% Googling it first. Or they're asking ChatGPT with the voice feature, or they're asking chat GPT with the voice feature hey, does such and such boutique have plus size dresses? Whatever the question is? So you can create a blog post or a website page whatever is your way of using your website to answer these most frequently asked questions.

Brenda Eckhardt:

And this is going to be an ongoing, continuous need Because, as AI gets smarter, consumers are getting smarter, they're going to be asking more complex questions. They're going to be asking more complex questions. A great example is in the medical field, because when I've spoken to doctors, when I've seen YouTube videos of doctors talking about their biggest challenges right now, it's the fact that patients are too smart. Patients know a lot of the right questions to ask and sometimes these doctors don't even know how to answer them in a way that can manage what the expectation of an answer is from a patient anymore, because they know too much because of AI, chat, gpt, google and doing self-research. So people are getting smarter. We need to keep getting smarter and it seems like a lot of work and a lot of heavy lifting, but once you get the bulk of it done, definitely use ChatGPT to help you.

Brenda Eckhardt:

Once you get that on your website, you are so far ahead of the competition. They will be wondering how you got to the top of Google and how you keep staying there. They will be wondering how you got to the top of Google and how you keep staying there. Now the second piece of this is your video posts like Reels Facebook. Reels Facebook posts. Make sure you're marking your location, if you're a local business in every single post.

Brenda Eckhardt:

If you want to attract people from outside cities from your area, just rotate through the different cities that that's the location you're in for that particular video or post. Now, I know that if you have a main street shop, you're probably thinking I don't want to do that, but it's okay to do that. If you want to attract business from a nearby city, it's actually pretty critical that you do that, because there's to attract business from a nearby city. It's actually pretty critical that you do that because there's only so many customers in your area that you've probably already reached and the goal is constantly to bring in new people. Show that you're doing something different and exciting and that you're the place that's going to give them great customer service. If they find the answers to their questions by search, they're going to want to come to you because you're the expert. You're the one that they can trust. This is such an opportunity to build trust and to get found locally, especially if you've been struggling with that.

Brenda Eckhardt:

It's like AI opened the door for you to have a redo. If you just have never really gotten on the first page of Google. This is your answer. This is your key. I know people have mixed feelings about AI. You don't need to be sharing personal information, you don't need to be sharing names of your customers, but you can use it as a tool and this, as you can tell, I'm excited about it because I'm already seeing massive results.

Brenda Eckhardt:

I'm seeing all of my past Instagram reels that I've marked the location and had keyworded captions showing up in the short form video area on Google. Captions showing up in the short form video area on Google. Now, that's new and that's 100% Google AI, recognizing that that didn't happen maybe two months ago. That happened recently. I've been in business for 21 years. I've been posting on Instagram since I don't know when. When did it begin? 2015. And some of my oldest reels are showing up, so it's giving new life to those reels, and my YouTube shorts are on fire on Google right now.

Brenda Eckhardt:

Now, as another piece to this, my main market for photography is high school seniors, and this is how this leads into marketing. I cannot explain to you how true it is that teenagers set the trend for what your customers are going to be doing in a year, and I will tell you beyond any doubt that your customers by next year really probably more than likely by November will be using chat GPT voice to search for what they want to know If they want to find a liquor store near me, if they want to find the best place to find a birthday cake, whatever, they're using voice. These teenagers are not typing. They're not going to Google voice like the voice feature dictating. They're just having a constant conversation with chat GPT to ask questions and they're using it as like a Q and a all day. That's really what I should title this YouTube video.

Brenda Eckhardt:

I just wanted to hop on here and explain that that's where I've been. That's what I've been going pretty hard on with my virtual assistant. If you feel like this is too much for you and you're going to struggle with finding the time to do this, a virtual assistant, even in the short term, can be a huge help. If you could use help from me and my team, let me know I'm happy to either guide you through, coach you through or help you through, or do it for you if need be. But I really cannot stress enough how this should be priority A number one for your marketing. I hope you found this helpful and I look forward to talking to you, hopefully in chat. Leave a comment to let me know what you're thinking and I will catch you on the next episode of Booster Visibility.
